Swinburne, Algernon Charles. [WITH A LETTER FROM THEODORE WATTS-DUNTON - SWINBURNE'S PUBLISHER].
Erechtheus: A Tragedy.
London: Chatto & Windus, 1876. 0. Hardcover. Octavo. 105pp. In the original teal cloth binding, gilt fillet border on upper cover. Shelf wear, some miniscule tears at the top and bottom of spine. Corners bumped. With a two-page letter from Watts-Dunton, to Edith C. Pollock, who used the pseudonym 'Thorn Ismay,' and wrote children's books, in reference to a work by Swinburne and his - Watts-Dunton, that is - intent to visit her. A nice item bringing together three British writers of the late nineteenth-century. In its original stamped envelope addressed in Watts-Dunton's hand. Good.
